ON-LINE APPRAISALS
Performance management and improvement starts by identifying required competencies and setting clear objectives and targets. For these standards to be effective, it is critical to consistently monitor and measure employee performance against them and provide ongoing feedback to employees on their progress toward the stated goals and objectives.
Central to this is the employee review and appraisal process. Typically conducted once or twice per year, they consist of 1:1 discussions aimed at assessing, summarizing and developing the work performance of an employee and agreeing future performance goals and expectations.
Traditionally appraisals involve lots of paperwork during both the preparation and execution stages and a large duplication of effort across all departments.
Footprint reduces paperwork and the amount of time and effort required, by providing a built-in online appraisal system. Organisations can either use the appraisal template provided, or they can create their own. Whichever route you choose you gain access to the powerful appraisal engine which is integral to Footprint.
FIELD EVALUATIONS
The accompaniment visit is a powerful tool to manage and improve performance within your remote and field based teams. These visits allow manager’s to observe staff in front of real customers and in real situations. This provides the opportunity to identify good and bad performance, offer critical feedback and set development plans.
Footprint enables authorised individuals to define an unlimited number of evaluation models. These can be linked to specific job roles to enable accurate performance monitoring.
A simple traffic light system gives a visual indicator of potential issues, though the system can be instructed to automatically notify the manager, presenting information in a variety of graphical representations. These can illustrate individual performance and allow comparisons against other individuals or whole teams.
